Just went to my yahoo messenger and saw one of my close male friends on it -with web cam-... I was invisible... so I don't get pounced at when I sign in, that he had the sign, "Please view my web cam" on. Now, I know he would not want me to view him at this point.
However, I wonder, is it possible for third parties to few other people's cam?
I was tempted to sneak peak but behaved :-) thinking that I don't want to stalk my friends on messenger.

Now as for a thrid party having the ability to view a webcam without the person's knowledge - well it is a world full of interesting high tech toys and programs. Everything you do online, everything you do on your computer can be monitored by a third party without your knowing it.

I don't know if it's true but I'd like to believe it is. I just set it in permissions not to let anyone know when I have my webcam on and not to let anyone view without permission.
